Q: Is it permissible to carry one's Qur'aan in one's backpack?
A: The Quraan should be shown the greatest respect and honour. Hence, the Quraan should be placed in a separate bag with respect. If this is difficult, it is permissible to place it in the backpack, provided it is kept in a manner that is in keeping to the respect of the Qur'aan.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
