Q:
1. A girl who is a ma’zoor due to passing wind, when she gets her haidh, how will she decide whether she is still a ma’zoor. Will she see whether while she has her haidh she passed wind through each salaah time?
2. Please explain the law of how a person becomes a mazoor with an example.
3. What will a girl do if, while she thought that she was clean and not in a state of haidh, she passed wind for an entire salaah period so she considered herself as a ma’zoor but later on she found out that she was actually in the state of haidh. Will she be a ma’zoor?
A:
1. She will not look at her condition during the haidh days.
2. A ma`zoor is that person who experiences a breaker of wudhu, like passing of wind or urine incontinence, or the coming out of discharge, etc. so frequently that from the beginning of the salaah time until the end of the salaah time he / she is unable to perform wudhu and read salaah without that particular breaker of wudhu occurring. Once this is established, one will remain a ma`zoor for as long as that particular breaker of wudhu occurs at least once in the rest of the salaah times that follow. If a person qualifies as a ma`zoor then he will only have to make wudhu at the beginning of each salaah time irrespective of how many times his wudhu breaks.
3. No.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
