Q: My name is Abdul Furqaan. I want to know if my name is correct? Furqaan is also the other name for Quraan. It means the book which make a difference between truth and false.
A: Furqaan is not the name of Allah Ta`ala. So to have the word Abd before this will not be appropriate.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
