Washing the area where the saliva of a dog touched a person

Q: Does a dog touching a person or their clothing make it necessray for them to shower or change their clothes?

A: If the saliva had come onto the clothing, then that area should be washed as the saliva of a dog is najis (impure).

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
