Taking one's wife back during the iddah of khula

Q:

1. Can a husband take his wife back during the iddah of khula? Would there have to be a new nikaah even though it is during the iddah?

2. Is the iddah of khula 3 haidh cycles as well?

A:

1. If it was just one or two then he can take her back.
Yes.

2. Yes.
