Q: A person I know read some text online, and that person wants to know that every Muslim needs to have the belief that Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has more knowledge than Shaytaan.
What should I tell him? Ofcourse he is correct.
A: To make such similes is not at all in keeping with the honour and dignity of Hadhrat Rasul-e-Paak (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Shaytaan is just a scrap and nothing more than that. How can you liken his knowledge with the knowledge of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Hadhrat Nabi's (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) knowledge was far greater than the knowledge of all creation including all the ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam) and auliyaa.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
