Belief of Hadhrat Isa (alaihis salaam) being crucified

Q: Does the crucifixion story have any basis in Islam?

A: Muslims do not believe that Hadhrat Isa (alaihis salaam) was crucified. Rather the Quraan Shareef says that he was raised to the skies alive. And he will return to earth before Qiyaamat.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
