Q: Should one combine the Maghrib and Esha Salaah in Muzdalifah? If so, how should this be done?
A: Yes, one should combine the Maghrib and Esha Salaah in Muzdalifah and perform both the salaah in the time of Esha. Immediately upon arriving in Muzdalifah, one should perform the Maghrib and Esha Salaah combined with one azaan and one iqaamah in the time of Esha.
The method of combining the two salaah is that one will first call out the azaan and then the iqaamah. Thereafter, one will perform the fardh of Maghrib, and after making salaam, one will immediately stand up to perform the Esha Salaah. A second iqaamah will not be called out for the fardh of Esha.
The sunnats for the Maghrib Salaah will not be performed after the Maghrib Salaah, but will be delayed and performed after the Esha Salaah, together with the sunnats and witr of the Esha Salaah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
