Forgetting to make sajdah tilaawat in salaah

Q: What is the ruling regarding one who recites an aayah of Sajdah during Salaah and forgets to make the Sajdah?

A: If he completed the salaah and then remembered, he should make istighfaar.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
