3. What is the ruling regarding waiting after the Khutbah on Jumu'ah to let the Masjid get filled?
A: It is permissible for the imaam to make an announcement after the khutba for the people to make their saffs. However, the imaam should not continue standing on the mimbar announcing this.
The sunnah is that there should not be any gap in between the khutba and the salaah. Therefore, the imaam can make the announcement once and then start the salaah.
