Water entering the piercing hole when making ghusl

Q: If I get new ear piercings, is ghusl valid if I don't twist or move the ear studs? I am told by the piercer that the new piercing shouldn't be touched or twisted as it affects healing. The ear stud rests against my skin. I'm not sure if it can be classified as so tight that water doesn't reach the skin the ear stud rests on.

Is ghusl valid without touching the ear studs? If I move it back and forth then it will affect healing or cause it to bleed in the shower.

A: The water should enter the piercing hole. If water will not reach by merely rubbing the piercing hole, then the earring should be removed to allow the water to enter the hole.

Note: Muslim women are only allowed to have one piercing per ear.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
