Q: Would it be appropriate to name our daughter Maariyah?
A: Hazrat Maariyah (radhiyallahu 'anha) was the slave woman of Rasulullah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam). Keeping the name Maariyah for one's baby girl is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
