Picking up discarded goods

Q: I am a security officer in a company. My company throws the items in a skip one month before the expiry date. Can I take some items from the skip without the permission of my supervisor?

A: If everybody is allowed to take it,then it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
