Q: A person has been attending a madressa. At the madressa there is a tuck shop which allows the students to take things on credit. As a student many things were bought on credit and paid later. A few years later the student has doubts in their mind as to whether they have paid their accounts accordingly. What can the person do besides asking Allah for forgiveness?
A: If one is unsure as to whether he had paid his accounts, then to the best of his ability he should try to remember how much money he owes the Madrasah and thereafter he should pay the outstanding money to the Madrasah. Alternatively he may contact the Madrasah and find out if there are any unpaid accounts in their records.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
