Q: Is it permissible for one sitting in sunnah i’tikaaf to leave the musjid to break wind.
A: It is permissible.
وكذا لا يخرج فيه الريح من الدبر كما في الأشباه واختلف فيه السلف فقيل لا بأس وقيل يخرج إذا احتاج إليه وهو الأصح (رد المحتار 1/656)
