Breaking an oath

Q: One of my friends was a chain smoker until recently. Even after many attempts he was unable to give up smoking. Finally one day he took an oath by holding Quran paak in his hand that he would never smoke again. But after few days he started smoking again. So what is the kaffara of the oath which he took on Quran. 

Incorrect vow

Q: A person vowed that if he never changes his school, he will stop smoking. He has not changed his school till now but he has smoked many times in this time. Does he have to offer expiation and how many?

Taking a vow

Q: A person vowed that if I never fall ill, then I will stop smoking. He hasn’t fallen ill still now but he has smoked many times. Does he have to offer expiation and if yes then does he have to offer only one expiation or for every time he broke the vow?

Smoking cigars

Q: Is it permissible to smoke cigar? I read that since cigar smoke is not inhaled into the lungs, it can not be harmful as compared to a cigarette Secondly, what is the stance of Taraweeh prayers in Islam? Is it farz or Nafil? Either way, Is it mandatory on Muslims to offer taraweeh prayers?
