pimples

Person who has scabs and open wounds making wudhu

Q:

1. I have persistent acne on my scalp and pimples often pop and pus/blood comes out. If a pimple pops then scabs, are these scabs impure?

2. If I wash my head when it has many scabs on it does the water become impure? If one of these scabs falls off, do I have to purify the area?

3. I also have a persistent toe infection that also drains pus/blood on and off at random times. For nearly all my fardh prayers, the infection spot is bleeding/draining pus. My question is, if my toe is bleeding/draining pus and it's time for prayer, how to I wash the area? I mean if I wash it normally, then the water that runs over it (which will no doubt run over the rest of my toe as well) will be impure, making my entire toe impure. How should I deal with this? In fact, how should one deal with washing bleeding limbs for wudu in general? If one runs water over it, the water becomes impure and everywhere else the water touches becomes impure. Is this impurity disregarded during prayer?

Pimples on one's scalp

Q: I have been suffering for a while from persistent acne on my scalp. It seems nearly all the pimples on my head (and there are a lot) are filled with pus and when they pop, a lot of pus and blood comes out. They are also very sensitive and tend to pop even at a slight touch or even just by themselves.

1. Must I shower every time a pimple pops or can I pray after wiping as much blood away as I can?

2. If I check to see that a popped pimple has stopped bleeding, then I shower, do I have to recheck again after the shower to see if there is blood, or can I just get out of the shower without checking again (sometimes when I am rechecking with a tissue, this make the pimple bleed again)?

3. What if I was not aware of any popped pimples before I got into the shower, do i have to check for bleeding when I am done?

4. Also, sometimes I wipe my head and see blood on tissue but I cannot locate where the bleeding pimple is on my head, in this case can I just wait a certain amount of time, assume the pimple has stopped bleeding and shower?

5. Also, I am a woman and have long, relatively thick hair and the acne on my head is making it difficult to keep, not to mention the pimples itch so much and some are quite painful. If the acne becomes even worse, am I allowed to cut or shave my hair to make my scalp easier to treat?

6. Lastly, is there an Islamic treatment I can apply to my head for something like this.

Pimple bursting while making wudhu

Q: I have got a fat pimple or wound, which is still open. Its on my hand. It does not bleed when it is dry but when water passes on it, it gets wet, and water sits on it. When I put a tissue on it, the tissue gets stained with a dot of red or yellow colour, a little bigger than a dot. So my question is that since its on my hand, how do I do my wudhu? And the water that touches the wound is paak or napaak?

Cleaning the blood and pus after bursting a pimple

Q:

1. Is it necessary to wash the area from where a blackhead is removed?

2. I often get pimples on my face and other parts of my body I heard that the pus that comes out of the pimple is impure, does it means that I have to wash the area after it came out or just remove it with the help of tissue paper? If it is necessary to wash then if a pimple burst on my right cheek or forehead, how to wash it (just put some water on that area or to wash my whole face).

3. Sometime blood also comes after the pus and after it stops a white water like fluid comes out what is ruling about it? Do I have to wash it or just use tissue paper to remove it?

4. Often pimple burst while taking ritual bath (Ghusal) What to do then? Sometimes blood or pus takes a lot of time to stop i.e. it keeps coming out in small amounts, what to do then?

Wudhu breaking due to pimples bursting

Q: I have problem due to acne on my face and on my back when I sit or if pressure is applied on it, it may burst and bleed, mostly blood comes out and there is no pus, but sometimes there is and both are unnoticeable mostly.

1. If this blood comes out, will my wudu be invalid? If yes, then what about prayers that I have offered in it without knowing about it bursting and about wudu?

2. What about the blood spots on my vest as there are a lot of it on it especially when 3 to 4 burst. Will my clothes be impure? Will Salah be valid?

3. Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd ar Rahman ibn al-Mujabbar that he saw Salim ibn Abdullah with blood running from his nose so that his fingers were all coloured red. Then he rubbed it and prayed without doing wudu.

What about this hadith should I follow it then? Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that the ayat "You who believe! When you rise for prayer wash your faces, and your arms to the elbows, and wipe over your heads and your feet up to the ankles," refers to rising from bed, meaning sleep. Yahya said that Malik said, "The situation with us is that one does not have to do wudu for a nose-bleed, or for blood, or for pus issuing from the body. One only has to do wudu for impurities which issue from the genitals or the anus, or for sleep."

Small white pimples

Q: Sometimes I have these white things on my face, like bubbles with white pus inside. They come for few days and go. What I noticed happening is some of them I see before sleeping and not anymore when I make wudu for fajr.

1. Does it mean they exploded during a night, because obviously then cant dry and fall out as a dry skin during a night and does it mean my pillowcase has to be changed, my face and hair has to be washed, is it all najasa?

2. I think many people can have them in different places of their bodies, back, leg, hips, etc. do we have to check and track their condition all the time to see if we r in najasa or can just forget in shaa Allah? Example I had a pain on my back knowing its from a red spot that can have pus in it, must I stand and check if there is a pus in the middle of a nap to see what is the condition in the morning, should I bath or no if I see no pus in the morning?

3. Does explosion of this pus break wudu?

4. Sometimes this pus inside is not liquid but hard, may be its other kind of spots, I don’t know, but would like to ask if I scratch that hard ball (pus) out of its place, does wudu break?
