Q: My company arranges business agreements between two parties. According to the business agreement, the first party pays money to our company for the second party that gives service to the first party. Our company acts as a business agent and takes commission from the money given to us as fees for the second party without telling the first party but with the permission of the second party who already worked with us.

Also, we take another fee from the first party while telling them that it is our service fee for arranging the business agreement with the second party and it is a clear dealing.

My question is about the commission that we take from the second party fees without notifying the first party (payee) is halal or not? Because this commission is the main source of income for my company. If this commission is not permissible then the salary I take from the company is halal or not? 

Q: A friend of mine has his own business as an insurance broker. I am in the motor industry. If clients require insurance for their vehicles, I forward their information to him. He provides them with insurance and pays me R1000 commission for every client that accepts insurance. I would like to know if I could use that money.

Q: A friend and I want to sell cars together. He has the experience in buying and I have the cash. This is how we wish to work.

1. He will find me the right car that is worth buying to resell.

2. I must buy the car myself with my money.

3. He will find me buyers.

4. I must sell the car myself to the buyer.

5. He (my friend) will get a cut from the profit of the sale.

Is this way of dealing correct? He will not put money in, but will basically do the work of finding the supply and buyers. I must do all transactions, If I loose for some reason he will not share the loss. He will only take a share in the profit of a winning deal.

Q: A person leases out his property to someone. He tells the lessee that the monthly rental will be 5% of the turnover the lessee makes while trading during each month. Is it correct for the lessor to charge the lessee a rental based on his turnover?

Q: I am working as a real estate agent. Whenever a deal is done, we take a 2% commission from both sides i.e. from the buyer as well as from the owner. Is this acceptable in Islam?

Q: Kaashif is the business owner and Kamran is the investor who invested $500 and Usman is the person who refers and brought Kamran to invest in Kashif's business, and in return Kashif gives bonus 20% percent of invested money to Usman which is $50, and it does not affect on Kamran's shares and profit. So my question is that such kind of bonus or commission which is given by Kashif to Usmaan is Halaal?

Q: A person (A) refers a customer to another person (B) because A does not sell in goods required by that customer. B gives A commission for sending customer to him. Is it allowed in Shariah?
