Bid'ah

Q:

1. We have the custom that in marriage the brides party have to give so many materials like utensil for kitchen, all item for bed room drawing room etc. And they give the example of marriage of Fatima (R.A.) and Ali (R.A.). Is this allowed in Islam and what is the exact sunnah regarding this issue?

2. If you invite people for walimah they have to bring some gift and without a gift they feel bed. Is this sunnah or what is the rulling?

3. In the time of invitation there is a system of invitation card or betal nut. Is it permissible and what is the sunnah method of invitation?

Q: We are building and we were told to read Surah Bakarah and blow in the water and throw on the foundation. Please can you adsice us?

Q: In Hyderabad, India, we have a custom that for any woman who delivers a baby, she cannot go out until 40 days from the date of delivery
are completed, like we call it as Chalis din ka chilla. Until 40 days, they cannot go out of house. How far is this true?

Q: If a man says "Ya Rasool Allah" in durood shareef, is he a mushrik?

Q: I noticed that people are giving "eid gifts" in the same way as the non muslims are giving "Christmas gifts". Is this a practice of Nabee (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) or an innovation? I can not remember any such custom when we were children.

1. Is it Sunnah to say to someone  Jummah Mubarak on a Friday?
2. If it isn't Sunnah to say Jummah Mubarak then is it permissible if one says it?

Q: Is it haram to put your hand on your chest after shaking hands?

Q: People call me to there house for khatam. They say sit in the middle and they tell me we have done e.g. 10 katams of Qur'an, many thousands ayaat-e-karima and I do dua for the diseased then we eat. Is it permissible for me to eat? They also give money at the end. What is the Shari'ee hukm with reference?

Q: I have read in masaail eidain to do dua after kutbah is bidah in eid namaz it should be done after namaz. Please advise me with evidence.

Q: Mera sawal ye he ke darga ku jakar wahan ka sondhal our thel (oil) gale me our peshani mi laga the he. Kiya ye jaiz he or aise karne walon kafiron me shumar he? Agar galath he tho aisa karne walon ko kiya kabar (information) deni chahiye?
