Q: Can a person adopt orphans from poor countries to give them a new life? Is it good for one to adopt orphans or should one not adopt them?

Registering adopted child under the adoptive fathers name
Q: May I ask if me and my husband can adopt and register under my husband's last name my sisters's (non-muslim sister) newborn child. Due to some circumstances the baby cant be registered because the father wont allow to put it under his name. (Unfortunately they are not married), so we are finding the way to help the baby to be registered and that is why we came up with the idea of adopting the child instead. Is it permissible? There is no possibility to put the baby's name under her own father.

Q: Can I adopt a child from my brother? Can I write my name and attribute the child to me or should the child be atributed to my brother?

Q: I have been married for the past fourteen years now and we have no children though all our reports are normal (both of us). My wife's brother has a daughter and he is younger in age, he used to feel bad about this and finally took some strength and spoke to me that they will give birth to a new born and will hand it over to us. His wife is pregnant now. It was agreed between us, him, his family and the family of his wife and they are also very happy to give us the baby, they do not want a new child for themselves as they said we are happy with one child. Is this allowed as per Islam? Now the thing is that his wife is due in this month for delivery and we have no option for the same. But then too please let me know in the light of Islam.
Giving one's child to someone who does not have children
Q: We have three children and expecting fourth one. My cousin do not have any child, sometime back they asked my wife if you have another child, promise me to give that child, which my wife promised her. Now in light of Quran and Sunnah, can we give our child to my cousin?

Q: We are planning to adopt my sisters baby boy. Can I put my name after the baby's name for legal documentation purposes e.g. birth certificate, passport. Also is it allowed for my wife to take pills so she could breast feed the baby?
