charging fees

Q: I downloaded some IELTS learning books from Torrent which I dont know is copyrighted or not... After learning through them I am gonna start a spoken class and charge students fees...is it halal??

Q: A person provides the service of picking up and dropping off school children from home to school. In the morning, he picks them up from home and drops them off at school. In the afternoon, he picks them up from school and drops them off at home. Some days, certain students are absent. For the days, they are absent, will it be permissible for the driver to charge them for it due to the fact that the seat is reserved for them in the car? The contract between the parties is on a monthly basis i.e. he charges them a fee for his services at the end of the month.

Q: We dealt with a certain supplier who stole our money and disappeared. We then hired a P.I. (private investigator) to track the supplier down and recover our money. The fee of the P.I. is R5000. Can we tell the P.I. to take his fee from the supplier?

Q: Is it permissible to charge money for teaching the knowledge of Deen? For example, can teachers teach the Quraan Majeed to kids and charge money for it?
