Q: Does one have to keep a fast when breaking a qasam? On normal circumstances people will but does one have to fast three days for breaking a qasam if this person is in a habit of taking qasams e.g. Kasam you are going to do this and that person doesn't do what the person who takes the qasam has said. Now that the person hasn't done what the person taking the qasam said does the one who took the oath fast for three days?
Q: If a person breaks a qasm and can not fulfil any of the kaffarahs, he is poor and sickly to fast. What should be done?
Q: I have a question. I have to pay a kaffarah because I brok one oath. Before breaking my oath I started fasting. When I reached on my third day of fast I got my haid (periods). Do I need to keep another two fasts again or continue with the last one only immediately after my periods. In another other case if I am willing to feed 10 poor people, can I give the equivalent money to one Muslim lady for ten days food?
Q: If a person makes an oath to Allah that I will not do a certain act and if I do this act I will give kaffara every time I break my oath. I know he will have to give kaffarah if he breaks his oath by doing the act once. My question is that if he does the act the second or third time will he have to give kaffarah again?
Q: Please tell me what is the kaffarah if some one failed to fullfil his mannat?
Q: If a person makes a general promise to Allah like for example Allah I promise that I will pray all 99 names every night. Or I promise to read certain amount of durood every night. Or I promise to study this amount, He says these outloud. Is he sinful for not doing these. Are they permanent or can a person speak to Allah in his duaa and take it back? And what if he forgot a certain promise he might have made, will he be accountable for that?
Q: If I have previously in the last 5 years said (by allah) and was lying then will kaffarah be wajib? I just learned about kaffarah recently so should I repent and abstain from swearing by allah on a lie or do I have to pay the kaffarahs of the past few years which I'm not aware of how many times ocured?
Q: Courts in my country require people to take oaths of the quran before saying anything. Is that ok?
Q: While I was suffering from a bad condition, I started seeking forgiveness (saying استغفرالله) and I asked Allah to remove the bad condtion of mine, and in my heart I promised Allah to do specific religous deeds when the bad condition is removed (as I thought the bad condition is fom my bad deeds). Is this promise regarded as an عهد or نذر? Can I pay kaffarah and abondon doing according to my promise, as it is very difficult for me to do what I promised? If I neglect my promise, would it be like this aayat:
