Q: How do I go about in carrying out my vow? I made a vow that if I find my lost item, I will give a certain amount of money in sadaqah.
Alhumdulillah with the grace of Allah I have found it and I wish to carry out my vow. Please advise as to who I can give the money to, can I give it to a family member, or a beggar that comes to our door, can I buy something with the money and then give it in sadaqah or should I give the money in sadaqah just like that?
Q: On the demand of my mother in law, I had to give 10 tolas of gold before marriage but I arranged for 7 tola and for rest, I was not financially strong so I made artificial gold bangles so that our marriage should not be affected. At that time I thought of making real gold when I will be able to make it.
Now our marriage has been done and its been 5 months and now her mother got to know that the bangles are artifical. So can I take false oath to save our marriage? Or what should I do?
Q: I have taken an oath in the name of Allah never to watch TV or movies if my father's blood report comes normal. Alhamdulillah his blood report came normal. A few days back one of my friend's showed me a movie trailer, I told him before that I've made niyyat not to watch TV and movies but he was unaware that day and I coudn't say no to him and unintentionally I wacthed the movie trailer
1. Does my oath still remain? If not, what kaffarah do I have to pay?
2. Does my oath still remain if I broke it or do I have to retake it?
3. I unintentionally broke it but I am scared of my wrongdoing that Allah will punish my father, how do I repent it?
Q: If a person has taken a false oath in front of the Ka'bah because one asks him to, what is the penalty?
Q: If I take an oath of disbelief by using the word "whenever", will I become kaafir whenever I do that particular thing or only once? Example if I say, "Whenever I do a particular thing I will become a kaafir".
Q: What is the kaffarah of breaking a qasam (oath) on Allah?

2. I made a niyat to Allah Ta'ala that 'me niyat karta hu aaj ke baad TV aur movies nahi dekhuga ' but I did not take Allah Ta'ala's name? Is my niyat valid?

Q: I just came to know yesterday that taking a qasam of ghairullah (anyone besides Allah) is not allowed in Islam.
I don't remember taking a qasam of ghairullah but I have a doubt that years ago I might have asked someone in texting to take a qasam of his mother and he refused to take it. I was ignorant about it. What should I do now?
Is asking someone to take qasam of his mother is also sin? although he refused to take it.
Q: I have 3 questions about a verse in the Quran.
1. The verse talks about oaths, does the verse refer to oaths made to God? E.g. I swear to God that I will not do this, and then one breaks the oath and then expiates it or does it refer to swearing on someone else, like when you swear on somebody e.g. I swear on you/I swear on your life that I didn't do this or I will do this etc.
2. If one swears on their spouse, e.g. I swear on you/I swear on your life that I didnt do this, but actually the spouse did do what they were saying, would an expiation be needed as said in the Quraan or is it only in regards to making oaths to God?
3. If one says to their spouse, I make an oath (but didn't say I make an oath to God) that I didn't do this, but actually did do the thing they said they didn't, would an expiation be needed?
The verse is as follows:
“God does not take you to task for the oaths you utter unintentionally, but He will certainly take you to task for the oaths you have sworn in serious intention. The expiation (for breaking such oaths) is the feeding of ten desperate persons with the average of what you feed to your own families, or to clothe them, or to set one subjugated person free from bondage. Who does not find the means, shall fast for three days. This is the expiation for your oaths whenever you have broken them. But do keep your oaths. Allah makes clear to you His commandments, so that you may fulfill your duties.” (Al-Maidah / The Feast 5:89)
Q: What is the kaffarah for not being able to fulfill an oath made to Allah?
