Types of Treatment

Q: Is hypnosis allowed in Islam? Scientists says that it is a therapy to get rid of fear, anxiety and stress etc. while some people say that some jinns are involved with it. I want to try it but I am not sure whether it is allowed or not.

Q:

1. In islam can you listen to self hypnosis? Basically self hypnosis is deep relaxation then you do visualisation or make suggestions. I want to know is it haram or halal?

2. What about meditation, is it halal or haram?

Q: My mother has a heart problem. She currently has a mechanical valve (st Jude's metal valve) and the problem is she gets admitted into hospital every 2 weeks due to high blood levels and clotting of blood all over her body. The doctor said that if she replaces the mechanical valve with a pigs tissue valve she won't have that problem again. Is it permissible to use it for medical purposes?

Q: Is the EFT therapy shari'ah compliant? Is it permissible to take part in such a therapy treatment?

Q: I have heard that cupping is sunnat, and have also heard that cupping is not Sunnat. Which is the correct view? I was under the impression that all that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam advised or did was Sunnat. Please can Mufti Saheb explain why cupping is not Sunnat and how things get classified as Sunnat?

Q: Can a woman who is trying to get pregnant over a long period of time consume the stump of a baby's umbilical cord?

Q: If someone has eyes with the eyeball not in the centre but it tends to move inside so that it doesn't look normal. Sometimes it becomes a reason for others to laugh. My question is  can that perssn take some kind of surgery for this?

Q: Is it a sunnah to perform cupping on certain days?

Q: Is doing and learning Hypnosis for self Improvement Jaiz and permissible. Please advise me on that.

Q: Can I use self improvement tools like Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Technique(EFT) to improve myself and remove anxiety, depression, negative thoughts etc, these tools are they halal in islam?  I think they are based upon eastern philosophy and psychology. They are not scientifically proven to work but a lot of people use them, I used them they seem to work. You can find more about them by using google search.

1) Would be I sinful if I use these tools.

2) Some might say if you use them tools you'll be committing shirk, what if I think this way that Allah has sent these tools and I believe He is cureing me by using these tools.
