Replying to the Azaan and Iqaamah

Q: During periods (menses), is it permissible to answer the Azaan? And do we offer the wasila afterwards?

Q: Are we supposed to repeat the words of Mu'azzin while he is doing azaan?

Q: Should we stop the work after listening to the adhan and prepare ourself for prayer?

Q: If one hears multiple azaans from different masaajid, does one have to reply separately to each azaan and recite the dua after azaan separately for each azaan? Kindly explain the ruling when one is in the musjid and when one is out of the musjid.

Q: Is it okay to perform wudhu whilst the azaan is being called out? Can you continue your dua during azaan or must one stop?

Q: If the iqaamat has just started, and one joins the saff next to someone one knows, should one greet them or shake hands? Or ignore them because iqaamat is on?

Q: If the azan has just started, will it be fine for a person to start Sunnats whilst the Azaan is on? Or is it better to wait till it is over?

Q: Somebody told me that we must not reply to the Azaan of musjids where the words of the Azaan have been changed and distorted.

Q: Should one respond to the Azaan heard over a recording or live streaming?

Q: Should we reply to the adhaan by repeating its words and also saying the dua after adhan when it is heard in this three different scenarios:

1. On the radio (even if it is from another country such as Saudi Arabia)

2. From the masjid (loudspeakers)

3. From the masjid (no loudspeakers)
