Q: Is it haram for a women to do winged eyeliner because the ancient Egyptians used to have winged eyeliner? So is this then imitating kuffar and haraam to do winged eyeliner?

Q: Is applying kajal using a kajal pencil (on Fridays) still regarded as part of the Sunnah or does one have to apply it in its powder form?

If a woman's face looks unusual with dullness, black dry mouth, etc., can she go to a parlour to make her look fresh with facials and to remove her dullness, slight lip colors to invisible black or dry. Kindly advise.

Q: What is the ruling for a woman who is forced to do makeup at a beauty parlor on her wedding day? The halal status of the makeup used at the beauty parlor is not known and the esha prayers will have to be offered with that makeup since people at the parlor do the makeup quite early. Should a woman accept the request of her in-laws to go to the beauty parlor for her makeup or should she argue against it?

3. Are alcoholic perfumes/sprays/body mist, etc. not allowed to perform salah? I heard that if you are using perfumes which contain alcohol, you can't perform prayer in that condition, is that true?

Q: Soon I am getting married and I am bound to have makeup from a parlour on my wedding day and I dont know which makeup brand the parlour uses, whether it is halaal or haraam makeup. Will the namaz be valid with such makeup of which halaal/haraam status is unknown?
