Durood-e-Ebrahim

Q: My question is about Durood-e-ebraheem. The Quran states in Surah Ahzab (33) Verse 56 صلّوا عليه وسلِّموا, but Durood-e-ebraheem only contains the صلّوا part and not the سلِّموا part. Instead it says اللهم بارك. Can you shed some light on this matter?

Q: When writing the name of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) in a book or article, does the translated English phrase "may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him" give the same reward as writing the transcribed Arabic "Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam" after His name?

Q: For listening to the Quraan you get Reward. Is their reward for listening to 40 Durood.  Where is it written that you must listen to 40 Durood and what are the bebefits of listening to 40 Duroods and what are the virtues of listening to 40 Durood?

Q: Over Radio Islam or Chanel Islam or any gathering we frequently hear the recitation of 40 Duroods.  I have only come across the mention and benefits of reading 100 or 1000 Durood.  Where is it written in the hadith kitaabs or made mention specifically of 40 Duroods and what are the benefits of reading specifically 40 Durood?

Durood-e-hada

Q: Is there any Durood Sharif called Durood-e-hada (I may have pronounced it wrong). Someone informed me that it has great merits if recited before someone’s grave.  

Reciting Durood a Thousand Times

Q:

  1. I came accross a hadith that says one needs to read a specific durood a thousand times and he will not leave this world until he sees his abode in jannah (something to the effect). Is there any hadith that says any durood could be read including the durood "Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam" and one will get the same benefit? 
  2. I read at least one friday (begining from the thursday night) 1000 times "Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam". Now am I guranteed jannah because we do not doubt what our prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said?
