Broiler Chicken

Q: Through reliable sources I have come to know that broiler chicken is a cross breed of pig and hen. There are certain similarities in both of these like their meat is soft, both have common disease like swine flu and bird flu. Please let me known according to shariah is broiler chicken halal or haram?

Some questions relating to Halaal & Haraam

Q:

  1. Do you agree that all food in makkah and medina are halaal ?
  2. A muslim owned restaurant where one is not sure if the food is halaal but cannot take a qasam. can it be considered to be halaal?
  3. Can one use the environment of a restaurant to judge if it is halaal. eg islamic frames ?
  4. In other countries can one eat fish and chips, fruits and veg without question from any where ?
  5. If you said no for number 3, in other countries can this method be used ?

Sheep and Beef Casings

Q: It has come to my attention that a Mufti from abroad has declared the sheep and beef casings (intestines) that we use in the manufacture of sausages and wors as Haraam due to the fact that Najis passes through the casing (intestine) when the animal is alive. Please comment.
