Q: Is it permissible to give babies toys e.g. soccer ball with small bells inside that jingle when moved around?

Q: If the child is born on friday at 1:30, what day should the name be given? Is the 7th day the thursday or friday?

Q: Is it permissible to find out the gender of the child before it is born? What if not then can you please provide a brief explanation?

Q: We have had a new baby boy and I would like to enquire on the sunnah of shaving the baby's head. Is it necessary to shave the head clean with a blade or would it suffice to use the machine?

Q: Is it gunaah if I gave my property to 2 of my children an not the other 2?

Q: I am 7 months pregnant and suffer from backaches and leg pains. Will it be permissible for me to sit and read salaah when the pain is very severe?

Q: In Islam, it is recommended to have many kids and offspring, but, the increase in population is also a sign of the coming of the day of judgement, so does this not contradict? A good command which represents the coming of bad days?

Q:

1. My wife is pregnant so she goes for ultrasound every month (because there is a little problem with pregnancy so doctors want to keep there eyes on it). Every time we go for ultrasound the dr ask us if we know the gender of the baby but I always tell them we don't want to know because this is blessing from Allah so boy or girl doesn't make a different as long as it's healthy but now somebody told my wife that it is ok to know the gender before birth so now she want's to know it which I totally don't agree. Please tell me if it permissible in Islam or not because it's a blessing from Allah?
2. Once one find out that she's pregnant then until what time they can share the bed or we should stop as soon we find out what does Islam says about these two things please tell us?

Q: Alhamdulliah Allah Ta'ala blessed me with two daughters. What is my duty and responsibility to them. What are the things a father needs to teach a child?

Q: I am one month away from giving birth. Does Surah Maryam help to ease labour? What else can I read for a healthy baby, easy labour and at time of labour? Also have been told to eat a lot of dates. Please advise if there is any truth to Surah Maryam recitation and eating dates.
