What to do when moving into a new house
Q: Please can you advise me when buy a new house what duas/prayers should be made. That is when you take the keys do you need to do anything and when you actually take occupation what should be done.

Q: When we move to a new house or flat, among the first things we do is usually to recite Surah al-Baqarah. Is this practise from the sunnah? Should Surah Baqarah be recited also when we move into a hotel room for a week's holiday?
Q: Is it permissible to have pictures of the Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabawi hanging around the house? Also, is it permissible to have pictures of other Masjid’s?
Q: What is the ruling if the wife stays with her in laws in the same house, sharing all spaces like the kitchen, bathroom etc? Are the in laws allowed to use her bedroom as they wish? If she is not there can they sleep in the room and let other people in the room? The wife's possessions are still in the room and she is not informed of the people using it.
