Q: When I gave birth to my child I had the normal bleeding for 40 days. After 40 days I started to pray but my bleeding has still not stopped. It goes away for 3-4 days then comes again. Now I am confused like when do I need to pray and when not.

Q: I am confused whether my bleeding is istidah or posnatal. I had an eptopic pregnancy at 11 weeks. My treatment for eptopic pregnancy involved a D and C and an special injection to terminate the eptopic pregnancy. Q: Regarding postpartum bleeding, after the 40 days when bleeding continues off and on as it does for breastfeeding mothers it is regarded as istihaza, so the days after the blood has stopped will you need to perform ghusl just as you do for normal menstruation? Or only wudhu? And how long will it be regarded as istihaza?
