Sajda-e-Sahw

Salaah related questions

Q: I have a number of confusions about Salaah and will be grateful for clarification.

1. If one recites Surah Fatiha in part but fears a mistake or miss pronunciation and recites it again from the start, will sajdah-e-sahw become waajib? If yes, what portion of Fatiha repetition will invoke it?

2. Sitting in tashahud position, if I am tired and my hands roll beyond the thighs with fingers running over my knees, how bad is this?

3. In summer, I have a habit of folding up my shirt sleeves well above the wrists and trousers well above the ankles and perform my Salah in the same state. I am told that this is forbidden, how bad is it if one folds one's garments up in Salah? If my lower garment reaches my ankles, (men's ankles should be exposed) is tucking trousers up at waste or folding at the bottom, still forbidden? I live in a cold country, We don't get garments made these days, we buy clothes ready made, whatever we get and sometime these are a little oversize, out of difficulty and not arrogance. How can one reconcile?

Reciting alif instead of ain in سمع الله لمن حمده

Q:

1.Does it break namaaz if in Semi Allahu limen hemideh one pronounce Alif instead of Ain in Semia?

2.Does it break namaz if one adjusts this mistakes already being up from ruku, meaning in the position standing straight when you say Rabbana lakal hamd?

3.Is sajda-sawh required for that?

4. If one did this mistake in witr namaz and then adjusted it at the position of Rabbana lakal hemd, then decided to make sajda-sawh, but in last tashahud he recited also Allahuma Sali and Allahuma barik, is his witr valid in shaa Allah?

5. I may not understand it from question 4, so please kindly answer separate – is it allowed to read all duas in last tashahud if one is going to perform sajda-sawh?

Reciting thana in place of dua-e-qunoot

Q: On pg 217 beheshti zewar, masla 32. Mention is made of a person who instead of reciting dua e qunoot in witr, read thanaa, then later read the qunoot, no sajdah sahw is required. If he doesn't read the qunoot later, ie just reads thanaa or something else in the dua e qunoot, will sajdah sahw be wajib? The kitaab mentions dua qunoot is wajib. Like surah Fatiha. If one reads something else instead of Surah Fatiha sajdah sahw is wajib. Please can mufti sb explain why for the qunoot it is not the same?

Reciting "rabbigh fir li" between the both sajdahs

Q: In regards to saying dua between two sajood during prayer; I contacted local Mufti and received fatwa that reading dua between two sajoods during prayer (Rabigh Firlee) is against the Sunaha of Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam); so there is no need for sajada-e-Sahu if someone don't read dua between two sajoods. I am 35 years old and never read Rabigh Firlee between two sajoods but during Hajj last year; I read in a book that of someone don't say "Rabigh Firlee" between two sajoods then he has to perform Sajad-e- Sahu and since then I am saying this dua between two sajoods. But after I contacted local Mufti for authenticity of this dua; he advised that it is against Sunnah. Please clarify.
