Salaah for an old person who forgets basic things

Q: I am inquiring regarding the prayer of an old woman in her 80s, who forgets daily essentials. For example, she forgets when it is time to eat food or did she already eat or not etc. She forgets her family members, for example if any name of her daughter or grand child is mentioned to her then she would hesitate to say who that person is; family member or stranger. But if she is reminded then she would know the person but again in a minute she would forget completely.

If she hears the Azan being called out then she quickly starts getting ready for salah and performs according to the best of her ability. Then, if she hears another masjid calling azan ~15 minutes later for the same prayer, she prays this salah again because she thinks she hasn’t prayed this salah yet.

Is this woman obliged by shariah to perform her five daily prayers?

Passing the meeqat without entering into ihraam

Q: I am from Pakistan and I am here to perform umrah. My first 3 umrahs are done successfully but when I was coming from Madina after living 10 days on the meeqat. I didn’t wear ihram because I make my mind that I will perform umrah after one day. After one day I will go to Ayesha Mosque and wear ihram from that place. Do I have to give dam since I didn’t wear ihram from the madinah meeqat?

Giving something in sadaqah instead of throwing it away

Q: I was for Umrah in Madina and had around 15 atar bottles which I didn't like and thought of giving to someone instead of throwing them away. I found a street vendor and gave it to him. He also gave me one atar and miswak as part of gesture.

1. Is it ok to give from my side? Will I be rewarded?

2. Can I take it from him? I don't know his niyat of giving it to me, probably he mentioned this is from my side as you have given this to me.

3. Later, I gave both atar and miswak adding some money to a poor person. Is it correct?

Poor person using interest money to pay off a loan

Q: I have a credit card loan which I need to pay immediately. For several months I am trying to pay it but I failed. I don't have sufficient money to pay it. But I have a bank deposit from where interest money is automatically generated. I have no other source to pay it other than this interest money.

Previously I did not use this interest money due to Islamic reasons. But now I am in an emergency situation as if I fail to pay my debt, it will generate interest. Kindly help me and show me the correct path. May I use this interest money to pay my debt and seek forgiveness to the Almighty Allah?

Wearing a taweez

Q: Is it permissible to wear taweez for children and adults? Ayat ul kursi, the quls.

And for babies the dua: Aoothoo bi Kalima til la hit ta mah ti min kuli shay taanin wa haa ma tin wa min kulli ay nin la mah tin.

Also is it permissible to wear a necklace for women with ayaat ul kursi engraved on it?

If it is permissible, I know the necklace has to be removed before entering the toilet area. But the taweez being covered in a cloth, will it also have to be remove?
