Can a non-Muslim assist when giving ghusal to the deceased?

Q: Can a non-Muslim who is a family member of the deceased participate in the ghusal of the mayyit?

A: A non-Muslim should not participate in the ghusal.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

ولو كان الغاسل جنبا أو حائضا أو كافرا جاز ويكره كذا في معراج الدراية (الفتاوى الهندية 1/159)
