Qurbaani and Aqeeqah in one cow

Q: I have heard from several sources that seven people can share a cow for Qurbani and Akikah. I would like to know if this is really permitted? If so, how should we do?

A:

1. Yes it is permissible.

2. The meat will be distributed equally among the shareholders.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
