Taking counsel from a non-Muslim counsellor

Q: Is it permissible for a Muslim counselor who does not specialize in Spiritual Psychology to listen to a Non-Muslim who specializes in this field and who only believes in One God, but does not follow any religion?

A: It is not permissible for him to take counsel from a non-Muslim counsellor in these matters. A non-Muslim cannot be trusted in spiritual matters. There will be subtle inclinations and discreet influences towards disbelief in his advice.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
