Giving Sadaqah

Q: Can I give sadaqah in the name of Allah Ta'ala and can the reward of sadaqah be conveyed to the deceased?

A: Sadaqah can only be given in the name of Allah Ta’ala and for the sake of Allah Ta’ala. However, the reward of the sadaqah can be conveyed to the living or the dead.  

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
