Eating shark

Q: Is shark halaal in the Hanafi Mazhab?

A: According to the Hanafi mazhab, from all the sea creatures, fish (i.e. pisces) is permissible to consume. Since the shark enters under the category of pisces, it is considered a fish, and hence it is permissible to consume.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
