Ensuring that One’s Food is Halaal

Q: I have heard that since Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country, one may eat from any restaurant as all the food in the country is halaal. Is this correct?

A: Some of the restaurants and food outlets in Saudi Arabia serve meat which is imported from non-Muslim countries. Hence, one should exercise caution in this regard.
