Being charged dishonouring fees by the bank

Q: Standard bank charged me an honoring fee of R100 which I don't think is fair. Why would they let a transaction go through if my bank account didn't have any funds?

I tried contacting them but they declined to reverse the transaction. I have a normal debit account. Anyways I am now due to pay them this fee of R100. Can I pay them with haraam interest money?

A: You should make sincere tawbah for this, and in future, ensure that you do not use your card when you do not have money in the account thereby causing yourself to be charged interest.

It is permissible for you to pay this interest amount with interest money.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
