Q: Today salafisim is common. So I have a question.
Many a time hadith are quoted to prove an action or say its incorrect.
Is the Hadith alone sufficient or is the decision the fuqaha made on the Hadith combined more important because one Hadith out of context can lead a person into great fitnah?
A: The fuqaha get their information from the hadeeth and on account of their level of understanding they will understand the content and application better than most people. Hence, we depend on them to explain to us the meaning of the hadeeth and its application.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
