Study medicine and engineering

Q: What are the rewards of doing a fardh kifaya act? For example if there is no Muslim physician, engineer, physiotherapist, etc. in a Muslim community (in a region where majority are Muslims compared to kafirs) only kafirs and a single Muslim decides to pursue one of those professions, what is his reward?

Subscribing to the Medical Protection Society (MPS)

Q: Certain doctors apply for jobs in private hospitals. The requirement for getting the job is that they need to have membership with the Medical Protection society (MPS). If they do not have such a membership, the hospital will not employ them. Monthly payment is made and in return the medical practitioners/doctors receive advice and direction in the medical field. The MPS also pays for legal claims against the practitioner/doctor. Is membership to the MPS permissible or this resembles insurance?

Q: Main ek doctor hoon. Jab main kisi marez ko sonography ke liye ya blood test ke liye ya kisi aur doctor ka opinion ya salah lene ke liye bhejta hoon to aam dastoor ke mutaabiq wo sab mujh ko commission bhejte hain. Jaise misaal ke taur par ek marez ko sonography ke liye marez se 750 rupiye liye jaate hain jis me se 150 rupiye wo loog mujhe bataur e commission mahine ke aakhir me de dete hain. Alhamdulillah main ne aaj tak kabhi kisi se comission nahi liya hai balke main wo paise har marez ko wapas kar deta hoon. Mera sawal ye hai ke kya medical proffession me is tarah ka commission lena jayaz hai ya nahi? Baraahe karam mufassal jawab inayat farmaayen taake main wo jawab apne sabhi doctor doston ko bhej saku.

Women going to male doctors

Q: I have been married for two years and and we are trying for a baby from the beginning onwards but still there is no pregnancy due to which we went to a fertility clinic which was a female doctor. After investigation the doctor had instructed to perform HSG test for my wife, (it's a kind of test that they will insert some instrument into a women's genital and check inside for the blockage) and she also said that there is only one doctor to perform in the whole state but its a male doctor who is very experienced and aged around 75 years. My question is weather it is allowed in Islam to perform these kind of tests with a male doctor?

Trying to locate the person one owes money

Q: I took my son to a general practitioner about 5 years ago. At the time, I forgot my medical aid card, but the doctor was kind enough to consult my son as I assured him to provide my details the next day. The next day, I contacted the receptionist and provided her my medical aid details. A year after that, I noticed that the fee did not go through my medical aid and contacted the receptionist to inform them. It is now a few years later, and the doctor has moved, and I am unable to get hold of him. He is not listed on any websites as well. How do I discharge this fee?

Feeling exhausted and lazy

Q: I usually feel too exhausted, very lazy and weakness in my bones and it's on every single bone with a headache and it only gets worst when I want to pray. I feel drifted from who I am, I don't recognise myself anymore and I find it very hard to do things for myself or anyone and my mum is always mad at me for that. I keep failing which was never me and I keep quitting on education and everything. Can you please help?
