qadha fast

Diabetic breaking his fast

Q: A diabetic, against the advice of a medical practitioner, fasts during the month of Ramadhan. Most days he manages quite well and is able to complete the fast. But now and then, he experiences hypoglycemia (very low blood sugar level) and then there is no alternative but to eat something immediately as otherwise it can lead to unconsciousness or coma within 2 minutes.

In the circumstances, what then is the penalty (if any) for each fast so broken and is it imperative to make up the missed fasts after Ramadhan or is one excused? And is Kaffara also payable and, if so, how much for each broken fast?

Breaking one's fast due to being intimate with one's wife

Q: During ramadhaan, whilst fasting I got intimate with my wife. We did not have actual relations at first but satisfied one another using our hands. i.e: I made inzaal. And satisfied her using my hands. However after that before iftaar, thinking that our fasts are already broken, we ate food and we had actual relations. Will kaffaarah become binding or only qadha? I am studying aalim course and I know what I did requires a lot of reformation and taubah but from what I understand, there will only be qadha in this case and no kaffaarah. Please advise.

2) Muje bataye me qaza roza rakho use Allah ka qurb aur raza haasil hoga ya me nafil roza rakskta hu.

3) Hadees Rasool (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) kis din roza rakte the aur ummat ko kis kis din roze rakne ka hukum diya he hafte me?

Making qadha due to eating sehri after fajr time sets in

Q: On the first day of Ramadhaan I did not know about the 18 degrees fajr time so I ate suhoor after fajr entered according to 18 degrees fajr time. After the first day I found out about the 18 degrees fajr time and how its more accurate than 15 degrees so I started following that after the first day. Regarding that first day, since I did not know about the 18 degrees fajr time, do I have to make it up? And do I have to make it up immediately after Ramadhaan or any time up until the next Ramadhaan?

Calculating missed Salaahs and Fasts

Q: I am 18 years old. Due to my ignorance I am unsure of when I became baaligh. And, therefore I am unsure of how to calculate my missed Salaah and missed fasts. I used to masturbate from a young age, and hence did not have a wet dream after I was the age of 15. I have now given up this act and have seeked for forgiveness in Allah. I feel more confident that I became baaligh due to masturbation, during or past the age of 13. I have come to this conclusion by reflecting on my personal memories, and researched into my internet history by finding the videos/websites I ashamed of viewing to give a better approximation to the time of year I would have became baaligh, which indicates towards me being 13. Therefore, I have more reason to believe that I would have become baaligh during or past the age of 13, but I am unsure if I am being lenient / biased to myself. My only reservation is that I have a vague memory of what I think is think is the discharge of 'mazi' (through masturbation), I am unsure if it was mazi as it was a thin fluid which was discharged in small drops, which did not compare to what I can more vividly remember of mani past the age of 13. Also, because I cannot recall this memory in it's entirety I do not know whether this was between the age of 12-13. And, therefore do not know if should calculate my missed Salaah and fasts from age 12 or not. Do I ignore this doubt and continue to calculate my missed Salaah and fasts from the age of 13? Also, as I am a student, I do not have a lot of money that I can give to charity, and thus I am also wondering what righteous deeds I can perform along side my repentance? Due to me committing these major sins.

Paying fidyah for the missed Salaahs and Fasts of the deceased

Q: We Sunni-hanafi, wish to pay as fidya for Qadha namaaz and roza for my mother and father, but I do not know how much they had qaza. I always found them Pious and humble, praying and careful about Namaaz and Rowza, except during last days of illness. What is the Islamic ruling for this? How can I calculate days and amount how to spend? Bearing expenses of a student heading towards hafiz e quran or Alim e deen, or donation for construction of Mosque considered as Sadaqa-e-jaria for my parents? What are other ways for this intention. Request for prayers for my parents to get best place in Jannat and Magfirat.
