Q: I request clarification on the ruling of waqf made by a kaafir.
What is the status of a waqf made by a kaafir? For example, if a kafir makes waqf of land for the building of a masjid, is such a waqf valid in Shari‘ah? [Kindly clarify, and also refer to Imdadul Ahkam, where there is mention of a related fatwa regarding this mas'ala].
Q: Can a non-Muslim donate money towards a masjid project or lillah?
Q: Is it permissible to receive funding as a donation from non-Muslims as asked for by a masjid and madrassah? Where should it be utilised?
Q:
1) If a non-muslim ( hindu or christian, etc ) gives money towards the building of a mosque, is it acceptable?
2) If the whole project of building a mosque has been financed by a non-muslim, can we pray in such a mosque? Will our prayers be acceptable?
3) If a non-muslim has financed the building of a madrasah, or some classes of that madrasah, is that acceptable? Can our children learn there?
