Revoking the Talaaq

Husband sending the wife government divorce notice form

Q: My husband sent ‘divorce notice form’ according to Bangladeshi Govt divorce form but his intention was to frighten and correct me . In that form he had to give right mark to ‘talaq e bain’ as there is no option there. Within one month a family meeting is occurred and we lived again as husband-wife. As Bangladeshi divorce rule, if husband take wife before 90 days, they can live as spouse. Now the question is according to Sharii, is it valid to live? If it is not valid, what should we do?

Divorcing one's wife before meeting her in seclusion

Q: I did niakah with my couisn in 2015 but we never met alone and we never spoke. My father and mother fought because of my father in law. I told them to stop and at that time I loss my mind and I said abusive words to my parents that "you people are dogs, I am giving her divorce divorce divorce, now keep quite. I already gave her 3 divoce so no more fighting otherwise I will do sucide". Then my parents were normal. I said those words unintentionally and I didn't know about the rules of divorce.

Revoking a talaaq

Q: I asked my husband for a divorce and he wrote it down on a piece of paper for me but did not want to divorce me and now we have gone back together again. Is this permissible as he says someone told him he can take me back within the 3 months period. What to do?

Issuing a talaaq for legal reasons

Q: My sister got married and after few months her husband ran away to a neighbouring country for some political reason. She was pregnant and got a baby. After two years waiting, he couldn't come back but the only way was she has to follow him. But because she is the wife of that man, the country's law doesn't allow her to leave anywhere unless she is divorced from him so they made an agreement and he sent her a divorce letter. The question is, is their marriage accepted or not?

Revoking a talaaq without the wife's consent

Q: Two weeks ago a Shariah court issued a talaq raji. We continued to live in the same house and bed. Last night my husband forced me to have intercourse with him despite my objections and plea not to. He is physically stronger than me so I could not stop him. I am currently under iddah. Are we still divorced or does the sexual act automatically reinstate our marriage even though I didn't agree to it?
