Q: I would like to know what girls names are most virtuous to keep. I have 2 daughters Aaminah and Maryam. The 3rd I would also like to keep a prophets mothers name, any suggestions. What does Maseehah mean?

Q: Is it permissible to keep the name Raad for a baby boy. What is the meaning of Raad?

Q: I would like to name my baby daughter "Irhaa Maalika ارهاع مالكا. I would like to know the meaning of Irhaa and which Quranic surah and aayat explained its meaning. Also, I would like to know if it is permissible to give that name with Maalika.

Q: I have been blessed with a baby girl. I intend giving my daughters name one of the below:

1. Delisha Hafsah bint-e-feroz

2. Delisha Nebia bint-e-feroz 

Q: I kept my daughters name Inabia. I checked its meaning from the internet. It means "one who turn stowards Allah" and it is an Arabic word. When I asked the Arab people working with me on the ship, they said that they never heard this name and they don't know the meaning. Please explain whether this name is correct or should I change it.

Q: Allah Subahanahu wa Ta'ala has 99 names. I would like to name soon to be child (if its boy) Maalik. But I heard never to put the names of Allah without adding Abd or Abdul first. So is it necessary to add Abd or Abdul before Malik? Because I also heard of names like Imam Maalik and Anas bin Maalik.

Q: I've 3 kids namely:

2. Hujjaj Khan

3. Ajmer Khan

Kindly advise if these names are suitable from an Islamic point of view or not. If not, kindly suggest other names.

Q: I wanted to know if one is allowed to name a child for which there is no Arabic meaning to the name? I thought of a name for my child "Marsha" and could not find the Arabic meaning. Am I allowed to keep this name?
