Q: Is keeping pictures of our relatives etc in an album instead of hanging them on a wall also haraam?

Q: Is watching boxing or mma haraam?

Q: If pictures are haraam, why do we take photos for ID and passports and also security, and are enforced by regulations?

Q: Is the use of emoticons and smileys etc permissble? Is the drawing of eyes on inanimate objects eg cars with eyes considered as murat?

Q: A person just lost two sons in a car crash. She is putting up photos of them around the houses. What is the Hadith on this so as to explain to her?

Q: I am going to get married, so I showed the girls picture to one of my best friends to get a suggestion. I need a suggestion from you that can I repeat this act again or not?

Q: I would like to know if the use of webcam is permissible like in video chat? Does it fall under the hukum of images? What if you just use the webcam not for video chatting but as a mirror, like quickly check your hair or your face (similar to a mirror) would that be permissible or not?

Q: I have a few questions pertaining to murat.

1. What qualifies as murat? Is it just eyes, face, or even the outline of an animate object?
2. I have an embroided picture of people around the kaabah, their faces are not visible, however you can see their bodies and that they are humans, is this picture permissable to have?
3. Can one read salaah in the same room as where murat is displayed?

Q: Are "smileys" regarded as pictures (tasweer) in shariat? And is it permissible to use them?
