Hadith regarding a person who conceals his knowledge

Q: Can you explain who this refers to:

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever is asked about some knowledge (that he knows) and he conceals it, he will be bridled on the Day of Qiyamah with a bridle of fire.”

Imam Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah (rahimahumullah) have recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2649, Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 3650, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 266) Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith sound (hasan).

Hadith regarding aiding and supporting unjust rulers

Q: What is the meaning of this?

ليأتين عليكم أمراء يقربون شرار الناس ويؤخرون الصلاة عن مواقيتها فمن أدرك ذلك منكم فلا يكونن عريفا ولا شرطيا ولا جابيا ولا خازنا

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith and has declared it authentic.

(Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 4586. Also see: Musnad Abi Ya’la, Hadith: 1115 and Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 5 pg. 240)

Reciting three Quls in the morning and evening

Q: What is the correct method of practising on this Hadith? Is it three times each?

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Khubayb (radiyallahu’anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said: ‘…Recite Qul huwallahu Ahad, Qul A’udhu bi Rabbil Falaq and Qul A’udhu bi Rabbin Nas, thrice every morning and evening. It will suffice you for everything.’

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 5041 and Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3575) Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared this Hadith authentic (Hasan Sahih Gharib) . ‘Allamah Nawawi (rahimahullah) has also declared it authentic (sahih). Refer: Al-Adhkar, Hadith: 216.

Meaning of Hadith where people will give testimony before they are asked for it

Q: What is the signification in the following narration about:"They will give testimony before they are even asked for it.”

Imran ibn Husayn (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:

“The best of people are my generation, then those who follow them. Then, after them a people will come who increase in fatness, loving fatness. They will give testimony before they are even asked for it.” (Jami’ Tirmidhi)?

Three types of knowledge

Q: According to the following narration, can you explain the different type of knowledge?

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says: “Knowledge is of three types; the clear book [Quraan], an established Sunnah, and saying ‘I do not know’.”

Hadith regarding preventing toddlers from attending the musjid

Q: Does the following Hadeeth have any weaknesses attached to it?

Wathila Ibn Al-Asqa' (Radiyallahu Anhu) narrates that the Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "Keep away from your masjids your children, your lunatics, your buying, your selling, your disputes, raising your voices, implementation of your hudood and withdrawing of your swords. Make provision at its doors for fulfilling needs of purity; and perfume it with incense on Fridays." (Sunan Ibn Maaja, hadith 750)

If so, can it still be used for advising/preventing toddlers from coming to the masjid?

Mut'ah

Q: In Sahih Bukhari I read a hadith that Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) forbade mut'ah. And I also found a hadith that Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) allowed mut'ah in a battle.

So my question is, is mutah still halal in any case, if not then why?

Meaning of the dua of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) about living poor

Q: The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) made dua: "O Allaah, cause me to live poor and cause me to die poor, and gather me among the poor on the Day of Resurrection". He (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) also also said: "The poor will enter Jannah 500 years before the rich." However on the other hand, Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) made dua: "O Allah give me the best of this world and the best of the hereafter," and they also said "Seek refuge with Allah from poverty, want and humiliation, and from wronging others or being wronged.

My question is that should we make dua from Allah to make us live poor and die poor so that we enter 500 years before the majority of the ummah?
