Q: I wanted to ask a question regarding the dressing of women in their own homes. In my house we have our own gym area where me, my mother, and sisters exercise. While exercising they usually wear shorts that go till the knees and a low cut tank top that shows their cleavage. Their nipples are sometimes also visible sometimes. Is this allowed Islamically if there is no fear of fitnah?
Q: Is it permissible for my wife to dress in jeans, heels, and other very provocative western and eastern attire in the boundary of our home? There is no risk of anyone entering upon my wife. This is all for my pleasure, so that I am able to better guard my gaze and be satisfied at home?

Q: Some of my clothes are only see-through when looked at closely. The skin can only be seen underneath if there is enough light and if I look very closely but to an onlooker from afar, they would not be able to see my skin. Am I allowed to wear such clothes during Namaaz, which are opaque and not transparent but only see-through from a near distance?

Q: My wife wears "Kaali Poth" which married Muslim women wear in Andhra Pradesh, India. Is it haraam to wear it? Will her Salaat be valid if she prays wearing it?
Q: Can you please tell me how do we determine if a dress is transparent or not. Most of my dresses are such that if I hold them in front of my eyes, I can see whatever is on the other side. But if I put my hand below the dress or wear the dress, my body colour cannot be seen. Are these dresses considered to be transparent? What is the way of determining if a dress is transparent or not?
Q: Sometimes I wear slightly short or tight clothing at home, e.g.: 3/4 pants or a t-shirt who's length isn't completely over my buttocks. However my aw0ah is always covered. I don't even wear sleeveless. However, my father says that this is wrong and disrespectful because we live with my brother and grandfather. He always makes me change. Q: When a woman covers herself when leaving her home, is it forbidden for her to cover herself with clothes which are decorated or clothes which have patterns or clothes which have designs? Would it be permissible for the clothes to be decorated or have patterns or have designs to a very small extent? If yes, what would be regarded as a very small extent?
