Q: I have a piece of clothing that says on the back “legends never die”. This is written in a different language that most people where I live won’t know what it says. Is this permissible to wear?

Q: A person likes to wear smart and matching clothes, e.g. kurta, jacket, socks and shoes. At the same time he desires that people should praise him because of his clothes and gets happy when people say that you are  looking very smart today. Hence when dressing he always has this in mind that I should wear nice clothes so people can praise me. How can a person remove this spiritual malady from his heart and life? 

Q: Is it permissible to wear a non-Muslim clothing brand called “fear of god” where they make shirts that says fear of god on them?

Q: Can we wear and wash clothes made up of recycled plastic fiber in a washing machine with other clothes? Are these clothes pure to use as these days mostly clothes use recycled material.

Q: I'd like to know what is the ruling regarding men, ladies and children wearing jeans?

Q: Is it israaf (wasting money) to buy expensive clothes if one can afford it?

Q: Is it permissible to wear shoes that have a “won ang” duck on it? A won ang duck is a symbol in Korean culture which is given to a husband and wife and symbolizes unity between that couple. I know partaking in this culture is imitating the kafir, but I was wondering if I could wear shoes that have a little picture of this kind of duck solely for the looks of the shoe. Most people who look at the shoe will not know what it symbolizes. The shoe itself is not apart of the culture, rather a normal shoe anyone can buy.

Q: I sell men's and women's clothes. I sell men's jeans, short pants and t-shirts with different photos. And I also sell women's jeans, short jeans, tops, leggings, blouse, crop top, bodysuit. Is this permissible in Islam to sell? My customers are 99.99% Christian.

Q: Is it permissible to wear shoes which has an outline of a human on the tongue of the shoe? I have a Jordan branded shoe and it has this picture, but it is small and could be partially covered by my pants.

Q: For men and women, what is the appropriate and sunnah clothes to wear when one sleeps? Should the satr be covered when sleeping or can a man sleep with a t-shirt and shorts for example?
